Graffiti this!

I used to think graffiti is ugly and intrusive until I started living here in Melbourne.

Everywhere you look there are interesting examples of this art. Yes, it is classified as art because it is a product of human creativity.

I enjoy the use of colour and graphics to jazz up a space that would otherwise remain dull and unassuming.

In this picture above (Johnson Street, Fitzroy): note the two different forms of graffiti: one in the foreground and the other on the top of the building in the top right hand corner.

Off Brunswick Street, Fitzroy: this wall looks like it would have been challenging to get to. It's very high!

On Rathdowne Street in Carlton....

In Brunswick: "birds of a feather flock together" it says..
